UWC Maastricht Student wins Funding for her Project
Olena has always been involved in youth organizations in Ukraine. Thanks to the funding of Go Make A Difference and the skills in entrepreneurship she has learned at UWC Maastricht, she is able to even reach more people!

Amazing Application Response for 2024
Students from UWC schools and colleges have submitted an unprecedented number of applications for this year’s Go Make a Difference awards. 125 applications were received, which was more than double the number we received last year.

GoMakeADifference 2024 awards – now $2,000 per grant
We are delighted to announce that for 2024, GoMakeADifference grants will increase from $1,000 to $2,000 per grant. And our overall commitment will increase from $30,000 per year to $40,000 with 20 grants being awarded.

GoMakeADifference Announces 2023 Awards
A total of $30,000 will be awarded to 30 GoMakeADifference projects. The team were once again pleased to see the variety across the diverse projects with some using a high level of technology as part of the project delivery.

Li Po Chun College Award Presentation
It is lovely to see how much students appreciate gaining a GoMakeADifference award. Every year we never fail to be impressed with the quality and diversity of the project ideas students propose to help make a difference.

Students Receive Their 2022 Certificates
Students from around UWC have been presented with their 2022 GoMakeADifference Certificates and the funds have now been transferred to the colleges in order that the students can start their projects.

GoMakeADifference Announces 2022 Awards
Twenty three Go Make a Difference project applications have received grants, in this our 21st year. A total of $23,000 will go to support UWC students, in living the UWC mission.

UWC Atlantic Students 2020 project makes a difference
Project Mashik a project awarded in 2020 to Atlantic students Abreshmi Anika Chowdhury and Safwan Zahid is being delivered in rural underdeveloped parts of Bangladesh to underprivileged students spreading awareness about menstruation and its taboos.

GoMakeADifference announces 2021 awards
Despite the restrictions for students being able to deliver Covid safe projects, we were really pleased this year to receive a total of 22 applications from students across the UWC who want to make a difference.
